Our non-12-step rehab program takes an integrated approach to treating substance use disorders. It addresses the individual’s substance use, co-occurring mental health conditions, and medical care needs.
Our research shows that those who complete detox and rehab together are less likely to relapse and more likely to stay in recovery longer. It's also critical to have an aftercare plan for when rehab is complete, and it's time to return to your everyday environment.
We'll address your physical dependence on drugs or alcohol and help you cleanse your body of its dangerous toxins. Therapeutic activities and specialized medications will be used to help you manage uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms.
As withdrawal symptoms dissipate, you will transition into rehab, where we will focus on the psychological aspects of your substance use. You will understand the root causes of your substance use, manage cravings that could potentially cause relapse, and retrain you brain to function normally without substances.
Transition out of our non-12-step rehab program and into a more flexible aftercare program. You can return to your natural home environment and put what you learned in the rehab phase into practice. Continue to receive the support needed to maintain a sober lifestyle.
During the detox and rehab process, you will benefit from a complementary mix of services that have proven to be effective in the recovery process.

"I had been to 3 other treatment centers before coming to Gulf Breeze Recovery. The facilities I had been to before were all nice facilities and comfortable but they do not compare to GBR. The things I learned at GBR were just too valuable. I have been able to find true peace and a sense of relief after struggling with a serious opiate addiction for several years. The staff at GBR is extremely caring and I am extremely grateful to have gone through this program. If I had a loved one that was suffering from addiction, this is the place I would recommend. Thank you"
"Excellent non-12 step program. Managed detox, various recovery programs that cover both physical and mental effects of addiction. Wonderful facilities and the staff was great. This place will give you or your loved one a new outlook on all facets of life, not just addiction."
"GBR has been great since the minute I pulled in the parking lot. I drove 1200 miles to get here and Alex the admissions coordinator was calling me and texting me checking up on me the hole way. The staff was waiting on me when I pulled in the parking lot and unloaded all me bags and got me inside and in a room right away. The nurses and staff and counselors where great and made you very comfortable and made you feel at home the hole stay. I would highly recommend this place to everyone."
