What to pack for rehab (short answer)
Pack light. You'll only need about 5–7 days of comfortable clothing, approved alcohol-free toiletries, and prescription medications in pharmacy-labeled bottles.
Some items are not allowed, including internet-connected devices like cell phones, tablets, and laptops.
If you’re unsure about something, call our admissions team before you leave home—we’re happy to confirm.

Pack light: How much to bring
Pack as though you are going away for five to seven days. Please do not overpack.
Laundry facilities are available to you during your stay, and all towels and bedding are provided by Gulf Breeze Recovery.
Florida Panhandle temperatures range from the 90s in summer to the low 30s during winter months, so bring seasonal clothing accordingly.

Please bring:

- A list of current medications and prescribing provider information

Clothes & footwear
Our environment is relaxed but structured. Clothing should be clean, modest, and free of drug, alcohol, sexual, or violent imagery.
Recommended clothing
- Jeans, slacks, sweatpants
- Shorts (fingertip length or longer)
- T-shirts, polos, blouses, sweatshirts
- Light jacket or seasonal outerwear
- Modest sleepwear (worn only in bedrooms)
Footwear
- Closed-toe shoes
- Sandals with straps
- Flip-flops (pool/sauna only)
Swimwear
Only to be worn in designated areas
- Modest swimwear for pool/sauna
- No string bikinis, thongs, or Speedos
- Bring 2–3 outfits if you plan to use the pool frequently

All medications are reviewed by our clinical team during intake. Approved medications are stored and administered according to medical protocol.

To help our guests fully engage in treatment, we do not permit personal internet-enabled devices.

Guests have access to two lobby telephones during designated times.

Travel, arrival day & pickup options
We encourage our guests to travel with a trusted support person or fly into a nearby airport. Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is only 11 miles from Gulf Breeze, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is 42 miles.
We may be able to coordinate airport pickup when arranged in advance.
